Nana and Papa

Pure joy is what my kids experience when Nana and Papa are visiting.

They love them. They love how someone is constantly able to meet their every need to play a game, be pushed in the swing, take them for a spin on the bike, play catch with them, read a book to them, tickle them, and just love on them. Then after all those things are done my kids are ready to do them all again. Dan's mini-meI hear that being a grandparent is the best role. You get to have all the perks of loving the kids but none of the responsibility. It's fun to see my parents embrace that role with my kidsCaptured a few shots of Papa and Titan.Papa playing badminton. It's always hard to play with Myla, you end up running after the birdie a lot! She loves to be in on the action though!Nana is always the life of the party. She and Quinn play badminton and velco ball catch for hours. They kept trying to get, "just one more." All Quinn had to do was say, "please Nana, " and they would be back outside playing catch. I still have yet to capture any pictures of Quinton on his new bike. Rex and Myla like it as well. They can't reach the peddles but enjoy being pushed around for a spin. Rex is completely enthralled with worms. It rained a bunch a week ago and after every rain we would walk up and down our street collecting worms. We celebrated Papa's birthday while they were here. I don't think that they were here for more than 10 minutes before my children were throwing his presents at him. They were excited for him to open them. I'm pretty sure that in those 10 minutes leading up to the opening of his presents, they told him everything that he was getting. Oh well. The Rude girls.Nana reading. We went to the zoo on Friday. Much to our disappointment the lions, sea lions, monkeys, giraffes, turtles, tigers (they were as far back as possible and laying down), were all gone. We still enjoyed the fresh air but were bummed about missing our favorite animals. Our group picture. I like this shot with everyone in it!Fun Nana going down the big slide.
My four year old climbing the wall at the park.Quinn being the incredible big brother that he always is. He loves taking Ty for rides down the slide. They took Papa to one of their favorite "Daddy spots." Down by the river to throw rocks. Quinton reminding everyone that he is 4We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days with Nana and Papa. They are always so much fun. So thankful that they are able to come and stay with us. We are blessed to have them in our lives!
