A Really Fun House!

We had our first official Rude Family Movie Night the other night!
We rented Disney's "Oceans."
It was the perfect movie for my animal loving family. It is by Disney's nature and shows you many different animals in the ocean. Quinn was entertained the whole time, the babies lasted as long as the popcorn did and then they wanted to read books and play but anytime a dolphin or a whale came on they would stop and watch. Quinn refused to miss the name of an animal which meant rewinding the movie a few times to catch their names. He has been impersonating sea creatures and loving bathtub time with his animals.
They must have seen something they liked!
Totally captivated
This is what the couch and my entire living room looked like after the movie. The mess was worth it. Everyone enjoyed the popcorn and each other.
Quinn and Rex have created some fun games together. One is called "Stick Ball." This involves a stick, usually a drum stick, and a ball with holes in it. You put the ball on the end of the stick and flick the stick forward making the ball fly forward then flick it back to the other person. This game is quite entertaining and can go on for a long time.

The next game that Quinn made up is call "Stay In the Game." This involves Quinn and Rex standing in the kitchen and throwing the ball into the dining room and then Quinn saying, "stay in the game, stay in the game," over and over again while running to get their balls, and then repeating the whole thing. Myla will get in on these game occasionally but would rather just watch her brothers and cheer them on with me.

Dan LOVES these games, anything that involves running around, balls and yelling is always a hit in our house! I'm sure that many more games will be invented in our house.

A great picture of our pretty girl
We are always having fun at our house.
Music is a must about 75% of the day. Everyone drums, play guitar and dances. The babies can't sit still when music comes on. They both have funny ways of dancing. I had a cute video but for some reason could not get it to upload... hopefully soon!

We have attempted some baking with everyone. A difficult task trying to involve all of them. As long as you give them some flour to play with and a baking utensil everyone seems to think they are helping! We do need to get some cookie cutters. Quinn and I hand cut our shapes out.

Despite the sad look, I'm pretty sure he had fun.
Dan creates fun games and activities that he does with our kids. Sometimes that involves sitting on the fridge and doing a jump off. He is such a fun daddy!
The Boys!
Only the boys are allowed to wrestle with their shirts off at our house. They have a blast and Myla always gets in the mix. Any time anyone is laying down in our house it is an open invitation to be jumped on, everyone knows it and everyone takes advantage of it.
Rex and Myla are truly goofy together.
They are often times found feeding each other at meals but that has resulted in some bit fingers.

I've been trying to change the blog background and style. But I need you to answer a question.... on my computer my background looks white with orange, green, brown and blue swirls on it. But on Dan's computer it looks totally orange and on my phone it looks orange with colored swirls. I'm just curious what the rest of you all see when you look at the background along the sides of the blog...

I see the white background with the orange, green, brown and blue. It looks great and I LOVE your blog. Kind of bittersweet as it reminds me of when our children were 'wee abells,. Our Granddaughter and some kids in the neighborhood created a new game last summer- Tie a Girl to A Tree! And fun was had by all!
