All of the sudden life got wheels, dirt in its toes, and baby food on its face and blood on its knees and it sits... I think that investing in band-aids and soap might be a wise thing with my three kids on the loose!
Rex and Myla started food this last week. They enjoyed some rice cereal and some carrots... it is always funny to see them try and eat it but their tongue pushes it back out. It is fun but Very messy. Quinn enjoys helping and tells me that I should wipe their faces because they are "messy Myla and messy Rex"

We had some absolutely beautiful days here in Des Moines. We reached 80 degrees so we enjoyed some summer apparel. The twins enjoyed a little vitamin D and Quinn enjoyed running, jumping, falling and skinning his knees!
After some intense outdoor playing Quinn came inside (no joke) climbed on the couch and grabbed the Parenting magazine off the table and started looking through it. So funny, he then proceeded to tell me all the things that he saw throughout the magazine!
We met some friends for a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. None of the kids were too certain of what to do but Quinn did find a few suckers and some candy, but mostly they were all just happy to be outside!
Eliza, Quinn and Leighton getting ready to go "hunt" for candy!
Some of the boys found our friends stroller and decided to take each other for rides.
Leighton and Mason were pushing around Malachi and Quinn. It's fun to see them become friends and play together!

At the park where the Easter Egg Hunt was!
Quinn being Two... he decided it was necessary to make a "chair train" that is what he called it. He makes car trains and goldfish trains and animal trains...
Rex and Myla started sitting this week too. Myla is solid and I can set her up and walk away. Rex still needs a little reinforcement. It is amazing how much happier they are now that they can see the world and all that is going on. It is pretty fun to set them up and put a toy in front of them and watch them play. I think that Myla looks too little to be sitting!
Rex usually falls forward after a little while... we are working on that back strength, but in his defense, he does have a bigger head to hold up!
Life Got Wheels...
I went to a huge garage sale the other day and found Quinn a 4 wheeler, then the next day our neighbors were getting rid of their old bikes and offered them to Dan. They are obviously too big for Quinn but he Loves to "Ride" his bike while we push him around and he thinks it is so cool when Dan or I ride the big bike. He is just a happy happy boy being back outside again. He is constantly asking to go outside and ride his Motorcycle (4 wheeler) and his bike and to go for rides in the wagon. So we are always rolling around on something!
I also got a lot of clothes and shoes at the garage sale and found Myla so cute kicks... I think she likes them!
Quinn and his best bud Leighton doing a little singing after Church. The were singing their ABCs. Quinn is funny because when you ask him to sing his ABCs he will just say "ABCs ABCs ABCs" over and over again!Future Singer on our hands?
Quinn blowing out candles... we celebrated with our neighbors Gus and Nash and enjoyed some cupcakes with them!
