Meg just sent some new pics ... Quinton was very smiley this morning!

Wedding

So apparently the trick to getting Q to sleep through the night (7+ hours - woohoo!) is to have him spend the day meeting all sorts of family and friends. Dana and Ryan got married last Friday and Quinton was quite the trooper.

He got to hang with Dad before the wedding while the girls got ready:

"But Mom, I'm hungry!"

Growing baby

Starting at a petite 6lbs 12 oz, Quin is now up to over 10 pounds! It's fun to see how he's changing. Meg said he is now smiling at her ... and not just gas smiles, but real smiles ("Kel, I swear!"). He and Meg have both been sick this past week, but are getting better just in time for Dana's wedding this Friday.

I'm excited to see him in Minneapolis this week. I'm trying to figure out with what I can distract his Papa's attention so I can get a chance to hold Q. :-)

Quinton Traveling

Quin traveled to Minneapolis to attend Great Grandma's funeral. His Grandpa took the opportunity to show him off to everyone!

Perfection

I'm sure I'm a bit biased, being Q's favorite Madisonian aunt and all, but he's pretty perfect. I just spent a great weekend with the Rudes and got to hang with Quinton all weekend. Meg was kind enough to let me get in lots of good cuddling time!

Overall it was a great weekend. It was fun to see Meg - she is such a good mom! In addition to meeting Q, I got to hear Dan speak Saturday night at The Downtown Church and see him recognized as a pastor at church on Sunday.
